I don't ask much of my friends and family, but I am going to ask one thing. Please call/email your state representatives and tell them to vote down the Health Care Reform bill if it gets that far. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Obama admits he hasn't read the entire bill, but is having his minions hurry it through. I read in The Wall Street Journal that this bill could have severe ramifications on ERISA. I am kind of partial to ERISA. He is doing so many underhanded things that will wind up sinking America. We have to stop him, Pelosi and Reed.
This bill will stifle any entrepreneurial spirit that America has. Most small employers can't afford to pay the "penalty" if they do not offer health care to their employees. What incentive do I have to strike out on my own and open an HR Consulting business? None!
In my current and previous jobs, I handled the Canadian benefits. I understand how socialized medicine works. It is not pretty! We do not want to wind up like Canada or Europe. The only difference between Mussolini and Obama is the fact that Obama does not believe in a strong military.
If we don't shut him and the other left wing Democrats down now, we are in for a rough rest of our lives. I honestly do not know if we can ever get out of this if it gets passed. Obama thinks this will create competition in the health care arena and drive down costs. Come on, we all know that the government hates competition.
Again, I ask for your help in defeating the left wing morons. Make calls, tell your friends to help put a stop to this madness. If your friends support Obama and his lunacy, get new friends.
God Bless America!

Family Reunion
Wow, Im tired. We had a GREAT weekend with Marc's family.....let me correct that... OUR family. I can honestly say I am OFFICIALLY part of the family. After everything Jimmy and I put those poor people through this weekend...we now BELONG. Marty and Beverly opened their beautiful home and hearts to us and boy did we have fun. Marc and I LOVED seeing Tommy be able to catch frogs and fish. He enjoys being outside so much! Jimmy on the other hand...oh what can I say about my Jimmy.....I just have to shake my head at that boy. The boys and I are leaving Tuesday for St.Louis to see my Grandma so I hope we can get some rest before then. I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for everything you guys did for us this weekend. We truly enjoyed spending quality time with everyone! It was wonderful. WE have a great family don't we!!!! LOL
On a side note please send me any pics you got if you can. I wanted to put together a better slideshow but I hardly got any pictures because I was to busy worrying Jimmy was going to burn the house down. Thanks!

You cant have him

Its happening. They are coming for my baby. When they came for Tommy it was horrible but the only thing that made it better was my sweet baby in my arms. We would drop Tommy off at his school and we would head to the only place open at 7:45 in the morning....TARGET. For the last 4 years Jimmy has been my constant companion. He has gone anywhere and everywhere with me. He is one of those kids that can adapt to any situation. Every waiting room, every store, every thing I have done in the last 4 years my buddy has been with me. When Tommy decided he was over holding my hand Jimmy never let it go. To know that he will not be throwing his door open at 2:30 every day and running down the stairs in his little underwear wanting a snack is breaking my heart. Will they know he wants to eat IMMEDIATELY when he wakes up, that he never likes to have clothes on, that his favorite snack is pudding....Are you telling me that its over...its just over? Everything I wanted my entire life and then I got it and now...its just over. THATS HARD TO SWALLOW. Sure I will be picking him up at 2:45 to go get Tommy at 3:45 so by the time we get in the house it will be time to start dinner and Daddy will be coming home. In time I will get used to this but at the moment my world is falling down around me. In a blink of an eye they are both gone. I can say one thing. I have been truly blessed to have been home with two of the most amazing boys a Mommy could ask for. I have had moments with them that can not be put into words. Rainy days with books and cartoons, sunny days with bikes and hoses, days with time outs, days with trips to Home Depot for locks on refrigerators, days at the Library, days at the parks with picnics, days dropping them off with Grandma and doing the happy dance down the road, days I would do a thousand times over.

Oh goodness are these not adorable! I have to find an occasion to make these but I don't want to put anybody in to sugar shock. I think just one as a center piece or something. Once your realize the fries are pre made sugar cookie dough just cut in strips, the bun is cupcake, the burger is brownie and the condiments are icing it really seems pretty easy.
