Poor Jimmy! He has had a fever for about two days but nothing else. For some reason he just didn't feel good and I couldn't get the fever to stay away. We left this morning to just get some groceries and things did not go as planned. He just seemed to keep getting worse and he was burning up. I called the doctor and they said to bring him over so we were on our way. The doc had me go straight to get a chest xray. As sick as he was he was soooooooooo good. I was so proud of him. When we were at driving from the doctors office to the imaging center he asked me if Grandma was gonna meet us there. Because Grandma makes my fever go down when you make my fever go up. WHATEVER JIMMY. Little did he know that as I was telling Grandma she was half way to her car already. HA HA. So me Jimmy and Grandma went to get our xray and he did so good. He got to wear a little apron and take some pictures. He even got to go to Wendys and get chicken and a Frosty. He thought ice cream would make him feel better. So we found out he has a VERY NASTY throat infection and pneumonia. With his antibiotics and inhaler all should be well in a few days. I gotta tell you my boys are troopers. Nothing gets them down. The only time he complained was when we coughed real bad and he said Mommy, I dont want this on my chest anymore. Daddy brought him home some car magazines and popsicles so he is as happy as can be again. I just need to keep this fever down. But the antibiotics should help. Wish us luck.
Yes, I had my cell phone and I couldn't help but get this pic. He was soooooooo adorable with his little apron. I knew Daddy would want to see him. If you look at his face you can see just how bad little man was feeling.

If you think he felt bad, you should have seen his mommy. His mommy felt sooooooooooooo much worse just watching her little man go through all of that. Mommy was a real trooper though,hiding all her fears inside her so Jimmy wouldnt know just how worried she was.............her mommy knew though! That's my girl....Super Mom
Ok, Ill be honest. I WAS SCARED. My little man was being so good and all I could think was HOW BAD IS IT REALLY. I didnt want him to have to get shots, or have to go the the dreaded hospital, or even worse have his lungs harmed. Good news is he is about 95% better already.
Also, thank goodness Grandma was there to take his fever down. WHAT EVER!!!
It is so funny how kids want their grandmas and not their mommies. I know how you feel. I am so glad to here that he is feeling better.
And I think your yard looks fine! Before and after! It just sounds like someone was bored and wanted to pick on you.
