My Larabar Review.

Well, I finally broke down and had a Larabar. For anyone else this would be no big deal. For me it was BIG. I have always found them to be simply disgusting. Something about the look, texture and overall wet feel that just turned me off.

That being said it is the beginning of a new year. We all know what that means. Gotta get healthy! I have been doing good with oatmeal and dried fruit for breakfast (my new favorite) but still needed a late afternoon snack. I found these on the clearance rack at Kroger. Usually 1.49 but on sale for .79. Ok, fine I give.... I will TRY it. Well, I will say that it was not "horrible". They really are so much better for you then a regular snack bar that it kinda makes it worth it. IF you can get past that weird "wet" factor. So there you have it. I will be back for another one tomorrow.

Gotta get healthy!

Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve Marc and I decided to take the kids to the mall. They each got $10.00 to spend on their brother. Marc got Tommy and I got (stuck) with Jimmy. I say stuck because he is does not know how to walk a straight line in the mall. It's not really his fault, he couldn't step on a flower...and well...the carpet was floral. It was a long day. LOL

Santa thought Tommy needed a little "help". Possibly the cutest book ever.

I was so happy that they wanted to give each other their gifts first. So sweet. Jimmy got Tommy some cologne and Tommy got Jimmy a Cars art set.

I have about a thousand pictures of them opening their presents. So much fun.

Tommy had been wanting this Robotic Arm FOREVER!

The moment they got their favorite gifts!

I made breakfast for everyone. Christmas trees!

Later Uncle Brian and Aunt Jay came over and Marc made a ham. So good!!!! I made a yummy chocolate cake with peppermint.

Great ending to a great day!

My brother had to make fun of my hosting Christmas dinner with paper plates. The only thing missing was sporks. Easy cleanup!

I love my family! Christmas was so much fun this year. We celebrated hard for 2 months and had the best time. Now we are all just catching up on our sleep and getting back to grind. I can hardly keep my eyes open at the moment so I will be back tomorrow. Lots of new stuff to tell you about!
