Wow, it has been a while since I have blogged. It has been a rough few months for us.  We have had so much joy as a family this year.  Fifth grade and first grade have gone great so far.  The boys are as CRAZY as ever though.  Fun but crazy!  These pictures do not even scratch the surface of all we have done in December of 2012.

Getting the Christmas Trees with the boys is always "interesting" to say the least.

Our Church had a beautiful Christmas service that told the Love Story of Jesus.  It was really neat to see.
 My big 5th grader!
Jimmy had a "cookie decorating" party with a bunch of his friends.  It was soooooooooo much fun.
We went camping in Warm Springs to see the Christmas Lights at Callaway Gardens on the Jolly Trolly.
Guess who found out there was "time out" even at the campsite.
We loved the town of Newnan.  It was adorable and has our favorite place to eat on the Square.
Heading out to see the Christmas Lights at Callaway Gardens.
So much fun!  I could be here all night uploading pictures of all the lights.  I had to just pick one!
Oh my sweet first grader.  My love.
I had to bribe them to see Santa this year.  LOL  it worked though.  We love going to Bass Pro to see Santa.
Before going to eat at Stoney River for Christmas Eve dinner.  I WAS SOOOOOO SICK  in this picture.  OMG, SO SICK.  103 temp, with Strep AND the Flu.  I was dying but somehow made it.
My boy LOVES a good steak and potato.
Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa and our new jammies of course.
Back home to leave the cookies out and spread the reindeer food.

I have no words for my boy on Christmas morning.  How cute is he?
 Joe Cool in his Underarmour.
My favorite present...OMG look at my eyes in this pic....STILLL so sick this morning.  I was seriously dying.  LOL  Jimmy bought me a Christmas pin all on his own (with Daddy's help).  He told the lady he wanted me to wear it in my hair.  She told him I could pin on me and he thought that was cool too.  :)
 Chillin with his new tablet.
So very blessed with another year of joy, good health and each other.  Movie time just about every night with these two.
Oh yeah, guess who got my Flu....that was one LONG day at Urgent Care that I would like to forget.

We are on the mend now.  Marc and I have had a ROUGH week.  He missed so much work and I was just overall dying through Christmas.  We were just grateful that the kids never got it.  So thankful for vaccinations!!   So excited for the new year coming.  It is going to be better then ever!  I can feel it.

Fall is in the air

Life has been crazy busy lately.  Marc is still smoking anything and everything he can get his hands on!  Chickens were AMAZING.

It has been so beautiful out the last few days.  We headed out on the boat Saturday for some fun in the sun.  It will probably be the last time until next year.  BOO!

We celebrated Marc's birthday a little late.  We had some fun at home on his actual birthday, but it was a crazy week so we had some more fun later in the week.

We had to head to Fort Oglethorpe for Papaw Franks funeral.  Such a hard thing to see but what a beautiful life he lived.  David is such a great representation of the man he was.

Always love being able to see Dylan!  These three can FIND some trouble together.  I have to say they were really good all day though.

Sunday night we started our small group for the year.  We took Broccoli and Cheese casserole.  ALWAYS a big hit!

Fall is in the air today.  I can just feel it.  I hate to rush it along but man I love this time of year.  Ready for some fall candles, football, and trips to the country.

Nothin Butt....

Well, well, well. Looks like Marc has a new hobby.
Marc is a "smoker"!

He lays awake at night and goes over recipes for "dry rubs" in his head...

It didn't take any time at all to find an assistant.  Tommy was rubbing and injecting like crazy!  LOL

I don't want to give to much away but I have heard rumblings that they may go pro...TShirts and everything.  HA HA

Papaw is letting Marc use his smoker and he could not be more excited!!!!!!

Take a good look because even though he will sit and stare at it for the rest of the day HE WILL NOT OPEN THAT LID!

Oh my, IT WAS WONDERFUL!

See......nothing left!  LOL

Those two have had more fun with this whole smoking thing.  Such a funny hobby but I am not complaining!!!  BTW, when they go "Pro" they are going to be called Nothin Butt....  LOL

First, I have to say that Tommy had a FANTASTIC time at camp.  We could not have been happier with the entire experience.  He had a great group of guys in his bunk and they had a blast all week.

After we picked him up Friday morning we headed to my new favorite campground, Bald Mountain RV Park in Hiwassee, GA.  I seriously love this place.

Tommy (and I) have a new passion.  We were soooo hooked on kayaking!  If it was not for the heat we would have stayed out there all weekend.

He could fish with his Daddy all day.  One of these days he will catch something.  LOL

Jimmy played and played at the little playground right in front of the camper.  I have to say, a 6 year old boy can wear me OUT!

SO much fun!  There is just something so peaceful out on the lake in a kayak.  Just gliding across the water.  Tommy and I want one so bad.  We are trying to convience Daddy!

We just need a bigger one he can fit in better.  HA

Yes, I trusted Tommy to take Jimmy out on the "open seas".  Trust me, their Daddy was not far.  You should have seen them peddling their little hearts out.  We can not wait to head back to this site.  They had a great pool, the kayaks, and put put golf.  I can not even imagine how pretty it will be in the fall.  I love the mountains!

Summe Camp 2012!

I have one happy boy tonight.  Today we dropped Tommy off at camp for the first time.  Tommy and his buddy Sam.  Such a nice kid!

I can not tell you how stoked he was to get the TOP bunk.  That smile is pure joy I tell you.

Joe Cool!

Temp check.  After driving all that way I told Marc to let him chew on some ice before we got there.

Thank goodness for Grandpa.

Before we got to the camp we checked out some of Clarksville.  Such a pretty place.

Marc was going crazy over all the trout.

Really neat underground waterfall.

The Attic was so cool.  Can you tell what Jimmy was doing.  I promise that sign was SWINGING.  I guess it was my fault for asking them to stand under the sign for a picture.  He just could not resist.

Can you believe that smile on his face.  Such and excited boy.

My four favorite boys in the world!!!!!!

I know Tommy is going to have THE BEST week ever.  That being said, I can not wait to pick him up Friday morning!!!!  :)
