Cochran Annual Smore's and Pumpkin carving!

We had our friends over for some pumpkin carving and smore's! The kids had so much fun.

The ladies ALWAYS have some laughs...lol I swear this is the worst picture ever of me but whatever. I literally have marshmallow on me. HA

Fried Brains...

My Mom made some adorable monster brownies. They were so cute!

Seriously could be one of those awkward family photos. Bob is such a photo bomber.

Regan and Brittany making a masterpiece.

Sandi and her hair...oops I mean pumpkin. She has newly straightened hair and it looks GOERGOUS!!

Skate party=FUN

A few weekends ago Jimmy had a great time at his friends birthday party. Between trying to keep the kids from breaking their bones (all kindergartners on skates for the first time), games all over the place, and cake I never got a picture of him with the birthday boy Jason.

This is his class from school. He is SO LUCKY to have the best class this year. His teacher Mrs.Evans is amazing and the kids are the best. I am a big believer in the power of kindergarten. It sets the tone for the next 16 years of school...minimum. lol

We have been so pleasantly surprised with how great Jimmy is doing in school. He has not only gotten the best marks you can everyday but some days he gets DOUBLE blue. We have been so happy.

My little Mr. Social. I was sitting at my kitchen table yesterday talking to Jimmy while he was having his snack. The next thing I know two little girls walked right through our woods pointing and giggling at our house. Oh my. So as soon as he sees them he rolls his eyes and says, "them again". So it begins. Not gonna lie, the fact that it is just a short little stroll through the woods to their yard might be a problem in a few years. Better get me some camo!

Yet another reason to keep him around

I vividly remember Marc saying something in the store about two boys and cream chairs. Yes, I remember something. Alas, this is what they looked like about a year later. Yikes! They were so dirty that when you tried to clean them with a carpet cleaner attachment they got worse. I actually sucked some green paint out of one from a play group a LONG time ago.

Remember when I was at the store last weekend (and Tommy was at the garage sale)? Well, I was getting fabric. CHEAP fabric at that. Marc went to town and POOF.....new chairs. I am in love with them. He is is stinking handy.

So I made him a old school chicken casserole....YUM. I had not made one in years, but man it was good. So easy, and SO good. Ok, so I had him paint a few baseboards too. LOL

He makes me smile daily.

My litle picker

One of Tommy's favorite shows is American Pickers. He loves it. Apparently he has learned from it as well. Saturday morning he was checking out some garage sales with Marc. He come home and asked me if he could have $5.00 to go get a game he saw. I said sure. Big mistake.
I left for the store and got a call from Marc...YOU NEED TO TALK TO YOUR SON...uh oh. The next thing I hear is HE BROUGHT HOME A.....A......A BUNNY!!! Only Tommy. Apparently he bought a baseball bat, 4 board games, a bunny, and a division calculator. All for $5.00. He had to go back for his bike. Bless his sweet heart. I can just see him.

The best part is how excited and proud he was of his purchase. He told us he "broke the ice" and "bundled" his stuff.

Oh, but my favorite part of the story is the fun little trip we took to Petsmart that night. $81.06 later we have a new family member. Meet Bugsy. Oh the things we do for our children.
