No ring in all of the world will ever touch my heart as this one did today. My little sweetie made it for me at VBS. He was so sweet and SO proud to make it for me. He has requested I wear it "for all time". I have promised I would. I love my Jimmy.

VBS and Berrylicious!
It's that time of year again. VBS time!! The kids have their vacation bible school this week and boy oh boy are the having fun. It always works out perfect because it is just in time for them. When they have had enough time to kick back and enjoy being lazy but are starting to get BORED.
My little Kindergartener and Fourth grader. I had to explain to Jimmy that "Puppy" was not going.
My neighbor is out of town but asked me to help with the mail and trash. She also asked for help with the best job ever! Picking the rasberries. I am a farm girl at heart. I LOVE LOVE LOVE anthing we can grow in our backyards. She said this bush was to her knees last year. I think she got it at Home Depot. Tommy and I had a field day picking all of them.
I have been checking them every few days to see when the were ready to be picked. Today they were just right. Big, juicy and sweet.
I went ahead and froze them for her but I'm starting to think I may make some fresh compote for the kids french toast in the morning. YUMMY!

Summer is in full swing!
Summer is in full swing around here. One thing we LOVE about our neighborhood is our pool. It cracks me up that there is hardly ever anyone there. We always feel like we are on vacation. The boys and I have been there EVERY single day since it opened (literally). Jimmy is so brown it is crazy. Marc got to chill with us a ton this weekend. Just some relaxing fun in the sun. Mom took this picture on a Saturday around 1:30. NO PEOPLE! Too funny. It was packed Memorial weekend though and that made it so much fun. Friends, music, kids and relaxation. Life is good!
